SAAHU has met requirements to receive the Silver Seal of Certification, a Chapter Certification Program that recognizes excelling chapters all year long. Recognition is based on criteria satisfaction in various areas. To earn the Silver Seal of Certification chapters must satisfy at least six of nine criteria. Chapters must meet requirements each year in order to maintain the certification. SAAHU's goal is to be recertified each and every year.

Leading Producers Round Table (LPRT)
The end of the year is quickly approaching, so take a look at your production and see if you qualify for LPRT (Leading Producer Round Table.) Selling health insurance and all of the related products is not an easy job. Being recognized for your hard work does not always happen. However, NAHU has an award that you might just qualify for if you just take the time and review the rules. There are four qualification categories: Personal Production, Carrier Representative, Agency, and Carrier Management. Once you determine your category, there are also four levels of award categories: Leading Producer, Presidents' Council, Eagle and Golden Eagle. You are given points for different types of sales and also points for retention. Once you add up the numbers, look to see what category fits. Really, that's all there is to applying for the award. Of course, you do have to be a member of NAHU and also be working in the industry. For more detail, go to www.nahu.org and check under LPRT.
