Speaker Bio:
Bio Annemarie Medina began working in the fitness industry in 1977 and has spent 34 years in health and wellness management. She worked for the City of Tucson Parks and Recreation department for five years before being appointed to the Mayor’s office where she advised and represented Mayor Walkup in the areas of education, health and wellness. In August 2009, she transitioned to the YMCA of Southern Arizona where she is the Corporate Wellness Director and Director of Activate Tucson, working with organizations to help them create worksite wellness programs. She holds a bachelors degree in Business Management and a Masters in Business Administration.
Mission Statement To promote through the coordinated efforts of the national, state, and local associations, the education, legislation, regulation and practices which are in the best interest of the public and the health insurance industry.
